Capitol Happenings Round-Up Week of 5/12/14

Most of the talks this week was about the Budget.
A budget was passed that included revenue from the Tax increase that was set to expire. This is the *Governor's Recommended Budget.

The Budget that was passed for the DNR appropriated $258 million, which is $8 million higher than they would receive if the tax increase was allowed to expire.

(more to come on the budget as we receive it)

You can view the DNR Budget Bill here if you would like to see how the numbers are broken down.
