Minn Kota MKA-44 Telescopic Extension Handle.Product Review

Minn Kota MKA-44 Telescopic Extension Handle.Product Review

Boats are not cheap, they require attention and maintenance to keep them in ready to go shape.  Capitol Outdoors purchased a 14 foot aluminium boat, we had to purchase the odds and ends like; life jackets, anchor, etc but we also had to purchased a new trolling motor.

While we wanted a foot operating trolling motor our budget allowed us to get a Minn Kota 30 pound thrust motor instead.  We quickly realized that having the trolling motor in the back led to small issues and problems, but that all changed when Capitol Outdoors purchased a Minn Kota MKA-44 Telescopic Extension Handle.

Bow-Mount Video Smart Phone Clamp Product Review

When we are out Enjoying the Outdoors we are always trying to capture either photos or videos of our outdoor adventures.  Recently, we were at the Illinois Deer and Turkey Expo and came across the Bow-Mount Video Booth and we saw this Smartphone clamp.
Our phone in Clamp

We mostly take video from a tripod or a monopod and we saw that this clamp has the correct screw-in design that we needed for the tripod device.  Currently, we have something similar to this that we use however what we love about this is that there is a little "safety belt" that can be tightened around the phone.

See Below for the list of our Pros and Cons
"Safety Belt"

Pros:

  • Adjustable
  • Safety Belt design
  • Price (under $10.00)
Cons:
  • Feels as if it would be easy to break
  • We don't like the orange, however you might like that.
