Small Aluminum Boat Restoration Part 1

Small Aluminum Boat Restoration

One year ago June, Capitol Outdoor purchased a boat.  I still remember the day we saw it on our way to work.  It was being sold on the side of the road and we thought that it would be fun to restore it. On the way home we stopped to take a look .  It needed a lot of work.

We discussed it little bit that night and the next day there it was again, same spot.  For about two days, we drove by talking about how cool it would be to get off the shore and fish different parts of a lake. I was hesitant because I knew it needed some work.

Illinois Bobcat Hunting Bill Clears House Hurdle

Illinois Bobcat Hunting Bill Clears House Hurdle

Above is the roll call vote for HB 352.

Today House Bill (HB) 352 "Bobcat Hunting Bill" cleared another hurdle.  It passed 62 to 43.

You may recall that a similar bill passed both the house and senate last year during the 98th general assembly. Governor Pat Quinn veto that bill on January 11, 2015.

The house bill's counter part SB 106 was placed on the Senate Calendar on April 16, 2015

HB 352 creates a Bobcat Hunting season to be regulated by the IDNR.  A maximum of 500 permits will be issued each season for $5 a permit.

This $5 dollar fee will add up to $2500 to the Wildlife and Fishing Fund.

You can read the HB 352 and SB 106 in its entirety.
