Boats are not cheap, they require attention and maintenance to keep them in ready to go shape.  Capitol Outdoors purchased a 14 foot aluminium boat, we had to purchase the odds and ends like; life jackets, anchor, etc but we also had to purchased a new trolling motor.

While we wanted a foot operating trolling motor our budget allowed us to get a Minn Kota 30 pound thrust motor instead.  We quickly realized that having the trolling motor in the back led to small issues and problems, but that all changed when Capitol Outdoors purchased a Minn Kota MKA-44 Telescopic Extension Handle.

As we talked a steady stream of phone calls and customers came in to Big Red's on Stevenson Drive in Springfield, Illinois.  "I've been in business for eight years and I'm the only shop that's left here in Springfield."  Owner Trevor Miller said.  Before all the other local bait shops closed up, there was a friendly relationship among the owners.
